The 9060 is a new expression of the refined style and innovative design that have made the 99X series home to some of the most iconic models in New Balance history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from classic 99X models with a modified sensibility, inspired by the proudly futuristic and visibly technological aesthetic of the Y2K era. Rocker bars, inspired by the 990, are expanded and used throughout the upper to provide a visible sense of motion, while the wavy lines and scaled proportions in the molded midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms.
